The Academy Orientation course, which was previously available only through Academy Support Centers, is now available in a new self-study format for all Cisco Academy instructors and administrators.
This orientation course provides a comprehensive overview of the Cisco Networking Academy program and the services, resources, and tools available, including tutorials on how to effectively use the Cisco NetSpace teaching and learning platform.
The self-paced Academy Orientation course includes 10 chapters and a quiz to check for understanding. It covers the following topics:
- Networking Academy offerings and services
- Instructor training and professional development
- The learning environment, design, and assessment
- Course management and delivery
- Instructional best practices
The self-enrollment link for the Academy Orientation course is now available on the Recommended Resources page in the Global Instructor Resources community. After you complete the course and quiz, a certificate of completion will be available to download through your NetSpace profile. Please allow up to two weeks for the certificate to become available.
