Linux Essentials, a new instructor-led course developed by NetAcad partner NDG, is now available on Cisco NetSpace. Instructors can open and teach Linux Essentials courses using this partner developed content.

We are pleased to announce the release of Cisco Packet Tracer (PT) 6.1, which includes fixes to many bugs reported by the community and provides the following new protocol support and enhanced functionality:  

  • ASA5505 device support
  • Enhanced NetFlow support
  • Enhanced OSPF, OSPFv3, EIGRP, and EIGRPv6 support

 Collaboration Primer, a new community developed course, is now available on Cisco NetSpace. Instructors can open and teach Collaboration Primer courses using this community developed content.

The Collaboration Primer introduces enterprise collaboration and the underlying delineating technologies in messaging, voice, and video. It maps the journey that telephony has taken; progressing from the initial implementation of voice on telephone wires, to the addition of the Internet Protocol, up to the use and integration of video technologies.

The GIR can help you enhance the student learning experience in your NetAcad classroom, for example, by using video and other multimedia content to clarify concepts and capture students’ attention.
